NeuralStent™ System
A globally leading minimally invasive implantable BCI designed for neural function reconstruction and assistive communication in severely paralyzed patients.
NeuralStent™ Endovascular BCI
Technical Principle
We reference and optimize the technical pathway similar to Synchron's Stentrode™. Using a minimally invasive endovascular procedure, a flexible mesh electrode array is delivered via the jugular vein to the blood vessels adjacent to the motor cortex. After capturing neural signals, the electrodes wirelessly transmit data via a subcutaneous transmitter to an external decoder, which converts them into control commands.
Core Advantages
- ✓ Revolutionary Safety: Eliminates the need for craniotomy, significantly reducing risks of infection, brain tissue damage, and rejection. The procedure can be performed in a catheterization lab with a short recovery period.
- ✓ Long-term Stability: Electrodes naturally integrate with the vessel wall, avoiding signal degradation caused by tissue reactions common in traditional implants.
- ✓ High Signal-to-Noise Ratio: Proprietary electrode materials and design ensure stable acquisition of high-quality motor cortex signals.
System Components
- ①Flexible mesh electrode array (delivered endovascularly)
- ②Subcutaneous wireless transmitter
- ③External neural decoder unit
